I'm so looking forward to tonight's Opening Reception at Maple and Main Gallery, Chester, CT. This is now my 4th show at M & M Gallery and thrilled to be a part of such a fine group of professional and talented artists.
As a co-op, we all share in the responsibilities of promoting, hanging, selling, hosting receptions and the many other jobs required to make a gallery of this size run. With over 250 pieces of art on display and for sale in each show it's truly a huge undertaking and without so many helping hands… we would never be able to make it HAPPEN!
So I truly feel blessed to be apart of this unique group and I hope that our current collectors and future collectors will know how special our gallery is.
Oh and to tell you a little bit about this painting "Bistro de Colore" is painted from a pencil sketch and a few photo references that I did one Saturday afternoon in September when I was sitting at the Gallery. The view is from the gallery window looking across the street to a quaint little french Bistro called Restaurant L&E. I captured a quiet moment some time before noon but by the later part of the day hunger customers arrived and the wait staff was busy greeting and service both inside and out.
Hope you get a change to stop by the gallery tonight for the Opening Reception… 5-8pm
with lots to see and great holiday gifts to purchase.
Also in the downstairs gallery this weekend… a Silent Auction to help benefit the "Soldier Boxes"…. lots of beautiful pieces at amazingly low prices. We appreciate all your support for a wonderful cause.
See you soon,
