Splashing colors by the pool or finding beauty in a flourishing rose garden,
it's a feast for the artist's eye to enjoy all the luscious greens and colorful blooms of season.
You can also find me closer to town where the energy and pace of life picks up... I'll set up my easel along the sidewalk seeking to capture that fleeting moment of ordinary people going about their daily life.
During the summer month's I always have my french easel, paints and canvas right at the door so I can head out at moments notice. Most mornings you'll find me checking the weather and planning my day accordingly.
We have so many beautiful gardens, quaint village greens and rolling fields here in Connecticut...and it feels like I've only just begun to paint them.
I've painted at Wavenly House in New Canaan (my hometown), Elizabeth Park in Hartford, Harkness Park in New London.
But there's so many more to explore.... and so the art journey continues....
