![]() I'm always looking for ways to share my artwork with others. And I'm so excited to tell you about this new line of greeting cards I designed and printed with Send Out Cards. I've been sending cards through the mail for over a year now with Send Out Cards and when Send Out Cards offered a Photo/print shop for bulk greeting cards I found it such a complimentary service to offer in conjunction with my art business.
If you're interested in placing an order for a set or two of these lovely art cards.... please click here. And I just want to say a special thanks to all Linda Kuehlewind, Chrissy Kuehlewind. Debbie Nolan, MaryAnn Purtill, Trisha Watson and Hannah Jacob for supporting us and the cause. Blessings to you all!

Saltbox Gallery - Member Show July 2012![]() Piled High for the 4th of July, oil on canvas 8 x 10 available Happy 4th of July! Well if you couldn't tell I love to paint strawberries! When they're under the spot light of my art lamp I can really smell that strawberry scent.... I think it's so hot that they might be cooking! One of my favorite memories with my kids is to go strawberry picking every year. When we lived together in Glastonbury there were several berry picking farms but our favorite was Rose's Berry Farm. It was so picturesque tucked in a little valley very... Connecticut... very New England. We'd drive down a long driveway and hop on the big farm truck that drove us through the winding road back to the strawberry patch... or blueberry or raspberry. We would spend an hour or so filling up our long flat tray up to the very top... the kids would pick one...eat one.. pick one... eat one... and we would all go back with pink fingers, lips and teeth and a very full belly! What fabulous memories... I hope my kids remember those days too... ![]() Every Tuesday night at Wethersfield Academy of Art in Old Wethersfield is a 3 hour drawing class with a live model. I've been going there since May of this year and I just love it! This Tuesday night was just a bit different... we decided to have a pot-luck supper before our drawing session. My fellow artists and model who joined us are in the photos below... Nick, Olena, Alfonso, Charlotte and ME! The food was so delicious. Nick brought stuffed mushrooms, Charlotte brought fruit salad and cinnamon rolls, I made an antipasto, Olena make a fruit cake and punch, Al brought fruit and Christina brought potato salad. We all enjoyed a glass of wine and then onto our sketching... What a fabulous time with some wonderful new friends... thank you all! |
