I'm so looking forward to tonight's Opening Reception at Maple and Main Gallery, Chester, CT. This is now my 4th show at M & M Gallery and thrilled to be a part of such a fine group of professional and talented artists.
As a co-op, we all share in the responsibilities of promoting, hanging, selling, hosting receptions and the many other jobs required to make a gallery of this size run. With over 250 pieces of art on display and for sale in each show it's truly a huge undertaking and without so many helping hands… we would never be able to make it HAPPEN!
So I truly feel blessed to be apart of this unique group and I hope that our current collectors and future collectors will know how special our gallery is.
Oh and to tell you a little bit about this painting "Bistro de Colore" is painted from a pencil sketch and a few photo references that I did one Saturday afternoon in September when I was sitting at the Gallery. The view is from the gallery window looking across the street to a quaint little french Bistro called Restaurant L&E. I captured a quiet moment some time before noon but by the later part of the day hunger customers arrived and the wait staff was busy greeting and service both inside and out.
Hope you get a change to stop by the gallery tonight for the Opening Reception… 5-8pm
with lots to see and great holiday gifts to purchase.
Also in the downstairs gallery this weekend… a Silent Auction to help benefit the "Soldier Boxes"…. lots of beautiful pieces at amazingly low prices. We appreciate all your support for a wonderful cause.
See you soon,
Avalanche is part of the Kuehlewind family!
Here's what Chrissy, Avalanche's aunt has to say about Avalanche:
"He is an American Eskimo and is six years old. He is my nephew..lol ;) He has a very dynamic personality and loves a lot of attention. When he doesn't get his way he gets very upset and will be persistent by barking and crying. Avalanche likes to be the boss of his family. He can show a sweet and sour personality at the same time. He loves and is obsessed with playing ball. When he was a puppy, he got very sick and almost died. However, he had a determination to live which shows his strong personality. He is a very close member of our family and we love him so much."
Much thanks to my dear friends, Chrissy, Linda and Dick… it was a pleasure painting a member of your family:)
Feel free to share this email with your friends and family….

Small but sweet.
Here's a painting a did over a year ago. It's one of my favorites and I was holding onto it until the right show came along.
It's now hanging on the walls at Maple and Main Gallery of Fine Art. But hopefully not for very long.
The Holiday Show opens this Friday night from 5-8pm. With promises of a very full house!
Along with the Opening Gala we are hosting a silent auction to support the "boxes to the troops" who send care packages to our soldiers overseas. The silent auction runs from Friday night to Sunday at 5pm. Lots of beautiful art at amazing prices. I have three small works in the auction which would make great gifts for Christmas or a birthday.
Hope you can join us for an exciting evening of art, holiday cheer and fun!
