Bailey belongs to Cheryl Carreiro. Cheryl is the sister-in-law of Nicole who goes to church with me and my husband. It was my husband Dean who encourage Nicole to send a photo and I'm so glad she pasted the message onto Cheryl.
Here's what Cheryl has to say:
"Bailey is a chiuahua - Maltese mix. She is almost three years old. She is a very spoiled and dearly loved part of our family. Bailey was given to me when she was just a few weeks old as a foster puppy from the Newington humane society where I volunteer every Sunday.
As soon as I took her home we knew she was going to stay. She is totally a "lap" dog and loves to be with my husband or I at all times. Her favorite spot to wait for us to come home from work is on the back of the couch where the picture is taken from. "
Thank you so much Cheryl for sharing your photo of Bailey... it was a pleasure to paint her!
I have joined in with over 240 other artists on fellow artist Leslie Saeta's blog. click here to link to the challenge.
Thanks to everyone who have sent me cute dog photos! I'm having a great time painting and hearing about all these sweet companions.
If I get to the end of the challenge and I haven't painted your dog. I will try to continue the challenge until all the dogs are painted and only one dog per owner. I might not be able to paint one everyday... I know I'll need a break at the end of this challenge, but I will keep the dog series going.
Each painting is painted on either 8 x 10 inch or 8 x 8 inch canvas board with quality oil paints and varnished. The price is $140 + (shipping and CT sales tax). Unframed.
with much gratitude,
