I loved all the challenges this scene offered. From the irregular shapes of the bamboo/wicker chairs to the very subtle shifts in color temperature of the background walls and windows. I had to resist the temptation to add brighter and bolder colors likes the past few days. My intentions was to work with a neutral palette. I did my own redecorating from the photo reference. Eliminating a few pieces of furniture and decorative items on the counters and table. But of course I couldn't resist adding in a little blue. :)
I have to say, the one thing I truly love about doing this 30 day challenge is pushing myself to experiment, explore and just let go... knowing that tomorrow I'll be faced with more problem solving, new challenges and the time constraint of 24 hours - which, after doing this challenge for the fifth time has turned the corner from stress zone to positive and productive territory. . Perfection can't be the goal here. Instead I focus on GROWTH. Can I see it? or perhaps it's something internal?
Well, until tomorrow -
Peace and blessings,
