Doesn't this scene just invite you in?.. wouldn't you just love to pour yourself a cup of tea, curl up on the couch and read a great novel? Oh that sounds wonderful right now... especially since we've open the Studio and Gallery back in October our days are so busy, non-stop.. all good stuff... but sometimes I just crave a little downtime.. to rest, relax and refresh... just a thought...
Just a few works about the 30 Day Challenge - Even though we are only on Day 5, with 25 more to go.. and things can change quickly... I'm truly enjoying this Challenge because of Carol Marine 's advice to paint ahead. Is it cheating? At first I thought so and I would try to stay true to painting one painting in a 24 hour span. However, I would be under so much stress and press to complete the painting, write the blog post, post on all the different social media venues and online gallery ... ugh... I'm exhausted just thinking about it.... and it would be worse if I fell behind a day.
This time I knew I had to do things differently because I have a few large commission paintings that are in the works and I couldn't just abandon them for the month of January . So by painting a couple of small paintings in one day, then writing blog and posting/sharing didn't seem so overwhelming. Plus I've been able to complete a large commission last night... one I can't wait to show you... I'll probably post the pic and write a blog post in a day or two... so keep a look out.
In the meantime... thanks for viewing my art,
Peace and blessings, Linda
