![]() Meet Baruch. Baruch belonged to Bruce Belco (one of my husband's friends). All I know right now is that Baruch is in Heaven ( all dogs go to heaven)... and loved very much by Bruce and his family. Here's what Bruce has to say:"Baruch is pure Great Dane . His Name Means in Hebrew Blessing /Blessed and translated in English it is my name Bruce. His Life was a heartwarming and funny journey . He was a Birthday gift from my wife who did not want a dog When he was 5 weeks old I saw Him in a litter of eight puppies . I Know great Danes I used to Breed them .I picked Him out as soon as I put my eyes on Him . After having him out for a while He was in the middle of the litter. I whistled .The litter picked up there heads . Baruch pulled himself out from the middle and ran to the gate of the kennel ,sat in front of me ,sat and cried. I picked him and He picked me . Lucky and Baruch , even thought they were different breeds had the same personality. Unconditional Love. When Lucky passed I termed a phrase to describe Him and my other furry family which includes Buggs the Chocolate Cocker. " GOD GAVE US DOGS SO THAT WE WOULD UNDERSTAND HIS UNCONDITIONAL LOVE" This is Day 7 painting of a 30 Day Painting Challenge. Thanks for helping us remember that dogs are terrific. You paint it; I know it. I ride my bicycle almost every morning and for the last two days all summer, there was peace on the trail. Up until then one dog owner allowed his pet to bark non-stop.
