![]() Meet Stevie. Stevie belongs to Annette Woodcock. Annette found out about the challenge when my friend Karen Brown reposted a facebook message. Within a very short time I received in my inbox .... this adorable picture of a dog in a tuxedo! Stevie was attending Annette's step-brother's wedding! How cute is that! Here's what Annette has to say about Stevie: "He's 3 years old, 12 lbs. (Schnorkie) Mini schnauzer/Yorkie mix. He is a rescue out of Texas. We adopted him when he was 5 months old. He had a very rough first couple months of life. He, was confiscated from an abusive home at 2 months old. Adopting him got us involved in rescue and we have been fostering dogs for the last couple years. Stevie is the best little foster brother any little dog could ask for. He's very gentle with them and lets them set the pace for when to play and when to back off. He seems to know they're scared and need a friend. He's spoiled rotten...LOL As he should be. He sleeps curled up beside me, and never wants to be very far from me. He loves to ride in the car and we take him with us everywhere we can. He is my little heart & soul. :-)" Thank you Annette for sharing your adorable photo of Stevie and for all you do to help foster dogs in need. This is Day 8 painting of a 30 Day Painting Challenge. I have joined in with over 240 other artists on fellow artist Leslie Saeta's blog. click here to link to the challenge. By the way, it 's not too late to join the challenge. Oh, this little character is so cute. You did a great job of inventing the background. Thank the owners for me for rescuing this little almost human.

Thanks Carol.. it was so much fun to paint this little guy. Such a gentleman he deserved a formal wallpaper background :). I will let Annette know that you are thankful for rescuing him. Take care, Linda
