This painting reminds me of the dachshund we had when I was growing up. "Choo-choo" was his name. I can remember the day my parents brought him home. They put him on a few pieces of newspaper spread out on the kitchen floor.
My brother and I shouted out names while my mom just calmly repeated " No, I think we should call him Max".
"Snoopy!" I cried.
"No, Max is a good name," my mom replied.
Undecided on a name the whole family left the kitchen and went into the living room. Calling out different names to see if he would respond to any of them.
Nothing. Not a peep.
A few minutes later, our newest family member poked his head out into dining room while the other half of his little body was still remained in the kitchen.
That's when, my brother, Mickey, said "Choo-Choo. He's longer than a train!"
So that's how Choo-choo got his name.
Thanks for taking the time to read my blog and view my art,
