So Excited to Announce my first Solo Show!

Show Dates: July 1- 31, 2016
Location: The Inn at Waveny, 73 Oenoke Ridge, New Canaan, CT

Reception: Thursday July 14, 2016 5-6pm

Here's the write up on the show: 

"In Good Company is a body of  work spanning over the past 4 years, by professional artist Linda S. Marino.  Many of the pieces are either on loan from collectors or reproductions of original commissioned pieces. As this body of works was being gathered for the July Show at the Inn at Waveny, it only seemed nature to name the show In Good Company. For as each piece arrived back into her studio, Linda was overwhelmed by the feeling of being in the presence of her dear old friends. 

For many hours go into creating a custom portrait and through carefully studying, observing, sketching and rendering, Linda strives to capture the uniqueness of each pet. The twinkle in his eyes or the tilt of her head. The soft loving gaze or the slightest smile. Whether in oils or acrylics the use of a brush or palette knife, Linda’s goal is for the viewer - and especially the owner to have that overwhelming desire to reach out and touch… or hug… they’re furry companions….because aren’t we always in good company when we’re with our pets?
