Well, it was just about two weeks ago that we moved out of the Watch Factory Shoppes in Cheshire. It was a lovely location, however the operating costs were consistently rising at a pace we couldn't keep up with and added circumstances that were beyond our control.
Reflecting back on the seven months that we were there, we do feel very fortunate to have occupied such a beautiful space... a place that was always filled with plenty of sunshine and yes, plenty of heat especially during this past arctic winter we had. But a building is just a building and the true blessing thats come from this experience are the friendships we made... and cherish the most. I can't help but smile when I think back on the very first week we moved in and the warm welcomes we received from our neighbors - Elizabeth, Markus and Paul... just to name a few. And the number of inquisitive visitors who happened upon us by chance. Especially... a handsome gentleman and his lovely wife who's wooden bow ties made a lasting impression. In just a short time we meet so many talented artists from the area. We had over 35 amazing artists display over 150 pieces of artwork in our Gallery. Both our Wednesday and Friday morning artist groups started small but grew in numbers and in developed a wonderful bond.. a bond that will continue to grow. Many thanks to Judy, Dale, Nina, Ann, Gary, Liz, Charlotte, Nick, John, Sue, Joanne, Bob, Suzanna, Carla and Scott. From our first 40th Birthday Painting Party to our kids birthday parties, fundraisers and girls night out... over 500 canvases came in white and left with amazingly beautiful paintings! Wow! Each party, each painting is as unique as the individuals who painted them. Kudos to all of you who so willingly joined in.."trusted the process" and work hard... yet had fun... held your breath.. and sighed deeply.... I'm so proud of all of you! Well, you ask.... what's next? Where do we go from here? The wheels are in motion but we haven't put it in park yet. We have a few irons in the fire, so they say... I'll be sending out our June Newsletter shortly but I'll fill you in on what's ahead... I'lll be teaching Painting Parties and Artist Website Design at Artsplace in Cheshire this Fall.. So for now... we want to say a "BIG THANK YOU" to all of you... Peace and blessings - Linda and Dean

I was so sad to hear that you moved, but completely understand the situation. P We always had a fun time at your corks and canvas! Looking forward to painting with you again. Good luck on securing a new place.
