A Memory that last more than just a few days
This painted bouquet was commissioned by my friend Hannah. Hannah was invited to her dear friend's wedding and wanted to give her a unique one of kind gift. Prior to the wedding, Hannah and I discussed the different painting possibilities and decided on a painted bouquet. Hannah took a few photos of the bride and groom, bouquet, cake, and church for me.
I kept the composition very simple and changed the background to a classic floral still life. I added in the small purple flowers because they were on wedding cake and the small little paper hearts were sprinkled on the reception table by the bride. She clip these hearts from her favorite book.
Be a Hero
This wedding bouquet was commissioned by a husband for his wife for their one year wedding anniversary!
White Roses and Burgundy Carnations - what I loved about this piece are the "quiet details" that made it so unique and special. The small blue flower tucked inside to represent "something blue" and the sparkling gems gracefully placed in the center of two the creamy white roses.
It was a joy to paint this bridal bouquet and I wish the newlyweds many more years of happiness!
