cland theAre you tired of trying to figure out how to sell your artwork?

Listening to a ton of different advice only to feel incredibly overwhelmed?
....." You should grow your business on Instagram or make You Tube Videos"
........... " or get more followers on facebook."

Are you tired of hearing about what you should do but when it comes to giving practical hands on training of how to get the business and marketing side of your business done its really hard to find someone to guide you through.

Well, that was me and that was exactly what I did for the past 8 years. I open my art business doors in February 2012. I sold small paintings on an online gallery along with hundreds of other artists. Hopping around from artists to artist trying to figure out how to sell. What do artist websites look like? where do I go to create my website. I can remember a very simple program called iweb on my mac for creating personal websites. I gave it a shot. But then found out that Apple was shutting this service down. In the meantime I started listening to a weekly podcast called Artist Helping Artist. Each week as I would drive my kids back and forth to school. We had a long commute. I would listen so intently. I felt I was getting an online education of how to market my artwork. Not only did I listen. I would get home and take notes. Google and look up each site and the information. I learned about facebook business pages, and website builders, The hosts of the show Leslie Saeta and Dreama Toll Perry shared so much information freely for artists to learn to market their work. They had interviews with well-known artists, gallery owners, even the manufacturers of paints and brushes. I couldn't wait to listen in to learn. I participated in the 30 day challenges and shared information with my artist friends. With how wonderful that show was and something I'm thinking about creating in the near future I found that there was still the gap between getting advice and putting the advice into action.  I had to figure out how to build my website. figure out most of the time the hard way and making a ton of mistakes along the way of how to post facebook ads.... oh and by the way. Since Facebook is constantly changing, sometimes for the better but sometimes its just plan frustrating to keep up. I want to share what I know with my working artist friends. I've helped many artist build their own websites. Did one on one training. but the one thing that was so challenging even though I loved and still love to help my fellow artists with the marketing aspects of their business I just didn't have enough time in the day to help. That's when a membership site seemed to be the most logical idea. A place where  new lessons can be taught each week in bit size lessons, where members can follow along instructional videos, pause the video and implement the lesson.
-From organizing photos
-to how to inventory artwork,
-how to build a website  or optimize a website.
-how to collect names for an email list
-how to grow an email list
-what to send in a newsletter
-why are blogs important to an artist website
-how to write about your artwork in your true authentic voice

The modules would be broken down into simple lessons - They will be live each week in our private facebook group. Each lesson will be less than one hour at a designated time. At then end there will be a live Q and A. the group can participate in the discuss because other members may have helpful information for the group.

The membership will be give you the foundation you need grow your business.  And the accountability factor of showing up and getting the work done.
