New Pond Farm Educational Center is located in Redding, CT. It's an incredible place with the most spectacular views of the rolling hills, pastures, the barns and chicken coop is not your typical red barn, these are painted a light yellow with white fencing around the grounds for the animals and an old white farm house. I was invited by my friend John who lives near by and paints often at New Pond Farm. Joining us were several other artist friends. We painted Sunday October 11. The leaves were just about turning, not quit peak but so very beautiful. I met several very friendly New Pond Staff as well as members who were visiting for the day.
Definitely on my list to return again. There were so many views and just not enough time to paint.
